Why Peel?

A chemical peel is a technique used to clear the skin and smooth the skins texture. Peels are intended to remove the outermost layers of the skin and are the most effective and results driven procedure especially for people of color. Chemical peels can re-texturize, even, and clear the skin with minimal contraindications.

Peel Types

Enzyme Peels are formulated from fruit extract and safe to use on all skin types. Enzyme peels are suitable for clients new to exfoliating skincare. These peels remove dead surface cells, clean the pores and improve both skin tone and texture with usually no skin irritation or downtime.

Glycolic Acid is a mild AHA acid peel commonly used on multicultural skin. Its small molecular structure allows it to penetrate deeper into the skin treating acne, melasma, hyperpigmentation, and aging conditions.

Lactic Acid is a gentler AHA acid peel also used frequently on people of color. Due to its large molecular structure it is not as drying as glycolic acid, making it ideal for dryer, more sensitive skin types, and intimate brightening.

This protocol is for a series of 6 monthly chemical peel treatments with the option of using a 2-6% hydroquinone-based product or ClubHouse "Botanical Brightener" for the treatment of hyperpigmentation conditions. Peel grades are determined by individual client resilience and esthetician assessment.

*Clients looking to add laser hair removal or laser skin rejuvenation, may be treated bi weekly.

Initial Protocol
Maintenance Protocol

After peel and laser series  clients are weaned off hydroquinone based lightening agents and transitioned to Clubhouse Botanical Brightner for maintence.

Clients may continue to have a chemical peel treatment or chemical peel with facial treatment every 4-6 weeks for another 6-8 months. They may also need additional “touch up” laser treatments as well, especially if you are performing hair removal treatments for the condition of razor bumps or PFB.
