  • WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM DYSPORT?
Deeply etched frown lines affect not just your appearance but also your self-esteem and even your career choice. Dysport can help you look younger, more relaxed, and in control. Many people with frown lines can benefit from Dysport – and it can work as well for men as it does for women. Many men are already experiencing the benefits of a younger, more relaxed-looking appearance that Dysport can provide. Discuss with your specialist about the benefits of Dysport for you.
  • HOW IS DYSPORT USED?
Tiny amounts of Dysport are injected directly into the facial muscles underlying the frown lines. It usually takes three to five small, almost painless injections between the eyebrows for an effective treatment. No local anesthetic is usually required, but if you are concerned your doctor can numb the skin over the area before injecting. You can expect treatment to take around 10-20 minutes. Over the next few days, the muscles gradually relax. You probably won’t notice it happening – you’ll become aware that you can’t contract your frown muscles. But because you can still blink normally and raise your eyebrows, you will not look unnatural. Rather, you can enjoy a more youthful appearance while maintaining a natural expression.
  • ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS AND RISKS WITH DYSPORT?
Treatments can cause unwanted effects but not very often. The most common side effects are temporary soreness or mild bruising around the injection site. Some people may experience a slight headache that lasts several hours after treatment; taking a mild painkiller is safe to relieve this. In a very small percentage of cases, there can be a complication called “ptosis” (a drooping eyelid), which may last a few days or up to 4 weeks. Rarely, an allergic reaction can cause a skin rash or “flu-like” symptoms. Tell your doctor if you experience any troublesome side effects. You should not have Dysport treatment while pregnant or breastfeeding or at all if you have a neuromuscular disease.
  • POST Instructions
Do not lie down for 2 to 4 hours following treatment. Facial exercises (squint/frown/smile) are strongly recommended in the treated area for one hour after injection. Avoid manipulation of treated area for a minimum of four hours. By following the above measures you will minimize the occurrence of ptosis (droopy eyelids), bruising, and less than optimal outcomes. Common side effects include a slight headache lasting a few hours up to 48 hours, and temporary bruising and/or swelling.
  • WHAT CAN DYSPORT DO FOR YOU?
Your facial muscles contract whenever you laugh, frown, concentrate, or squint into the sun, and your skin creases. As you get older, your skin loses its elasticity, and those creases deepen into lines that become permanently etched on your face. Frown lines between your eyes can become particularly noticeable at a relatively young age, making you look angry or worried even when you’re not. By temporarily immobilizing the muscles you use to frown, Dysport can smooth out those lines, restoring a more youthful, less stressed expression to your face. The lasting effect of treatment with Dysport can differ between individuals, after which further courses of treatment may be necessary. Speak with one of our specialists about the results you can expect with Dysport.
  • WHAT EXACTLY IS DYSPORT?
Dysport is a protein extracted from the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. The protein was initially used for the treatment of motor disorders and various kinds of involuntary muscular spasms, including cerebral palsy. It was further developed to treat a wide variety of neuromuscular disorders, for which it is licensed in over 60 countries.
  • PRE Instructions
Ingestion of alcoholic beverages prior to treatment can increase the chances of bruising and/or swelling. No anti-inflammatory drugs (Ibuprofen, Motrin, Advil, Aleve, Vioxx, etc.), aspirin, Vitamin E, or Ginko Biloba one week prior to treatment. This will reduce the possible side effects of bruising and/or swelling in area(s) of treatment. You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding to receive treatment. You cannot be allergic to eggs or egg products to receive treatment.
  • HOW LONG DOES THE EFFECT OF DERMAL FILLER TREATMENT LAST?
The length of time the effect of a Dermal Filler treatment lasts is very individual and depends on many factors, such as the structure of your skin, lifestyle, age, the degree of perfection demanded and the injection technique of the practitioner. Experience indicates that touch-up and follow-up Dermal Filler treatments will add to the duration. Most people choose to have a new treatment within a year after the treatment of wrinkles and folds and within 6 months after a lip enhancement.
  • POST Instructions
Swelling, redness, and tenderness will occur after your treatment and usually resolves within 72 hours. Cold compresses (a cloth dipped in cold water, wrung out, and applied to the injected area) may be used immediately after treatment to reduce swelling. Avoid touching the treated area within 6 hours of treatment so you do not accidentally injure your skin. After that, the area can be gently washed with soap and water. Until there is no redness or swelling, avoid exposure of the treated area to intense heat (sun lamp or sunbathing) or extreme cold weather. If you have suffered previously from facial cold sores, there is a risk that the needle punctures could contribute to another occurrence. Ask your treatment provider about medications that may minimize a recurrence. Avoid taking aspirin and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications, St. John’s wort, and high doses of Vitamin E supplements for one week after treatment. These agents may increase the risk of bruising and bleeding at the injection site. Avoid facials, aesthetic lasers, microdermabrasion, or IPL over areas with Dermal Filler for a minimum of one week after treatment
  • HOW ARE DERMAL FILLER TREATMENTS PERFORMED?
During treatment, the crystal-clear Hyaluronic acid gel is injected into the skin in tiny amounts with a very fine needle. The gel produces volume under the wrinkle, which is lifted up and smoothed out. When enhancing lips or facial contours, Dermal Fillers add volume and shape to the treated area.
  • PRE Instructions
No anti-inflammatory drugs (Ibuprofen, Motrin, Advil, Aleve, Vioxx, etc.), aspirin, high doses of Vitamin E, or Ginko Biloba one week prior to treatment. This will reduce the possible side effects of bruising and/or swelling in the treated area(s). Consumption of alcoholic beverages prior to treatment can increase the chances of bruising and/or swelling. You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding to receive treatment. If you have a history of oral herpes, you must pre-treat with an anti-viral three days before your scheduled visit.
  • WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF DERMAL FILLERS?
Dermal Filler fills in wrinkles, folds and creases in the face and lips and also augments lips. In addition to volume-filling, Dermal Filler increases collagen production and may prevent the breakdown of existing collagen. With regular injections the effects are more pronounced and longer-lasting.
  • WHAT IS HYALURONIC ACID?
Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance that is found throughout your body. It gives volume to the skin, lubricates the joints and gives the eyes their shape. The hyaluronic acid in Restylane is stabilized for long duration and is not of animal or human origin.
  • WHAT AREAS CAN BE TREATED WITH DERMAL FILLER?
Dermal Filler can be used for smoothing out folds and wrinkles, lip enhancements and shaping facial contours. The most common areas are the, the nasolabial folds (from the root of the nose to the angle of the mouth), the lips, chin, cheeks, under eye and other sites can also be treated. Very superficial or very deep wrinkles may be difficult to correct. Please consult your physician for an assessment.
  • HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?
Based on your desired chin profile, you and your provider will customize your KYBELLA® treatment regimen, including how many treatments you need. Many patients experience visible results in 2 to 4 treatment sessions. During these sessions, your HCP will administer Kybella to the fat under your chin using multiple injections. Up to 6 treatment sessions may be administered spaced no less than one month apart.
  • PRE Instructions
DO take ibuprofen, Motrin, or Advil 600mg, approx. 1 hour before your appointment. (Suggested, but not required) The ideal time to schedule this procedure is at LEAST 2 weeks before a big event. DO inform your nurse or physician if you have a history of DIFFICULTY SWALLOWING, medication allergies, history of anaphylaxis, or any other medical problems.
  • HOW LONG WILL THE RESULTS LAST?

  • WILL I EXPERIENCE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?

Kybella can cause serious side effects, including trouble swallowing and nerve injury in the jaw that can cause an uneven smile or facial muscle weakness. These are not all of the possible side effects of Kybella. Call your healthcare provider for medical advice about side effects.
  • WHAT IS KYBELLA?
Kybella® (deoxycholic acid) injection is the first and only FDA-approved injectable treatment that is used in adults to improve the appearance and profile of moderate to severe fat below the chin (submental fat), also called “double chin.”
  • HOW DOES KYBELLA WORK?
The active ingredient in Kybella® is deoxycholic acid, a naturally-occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. When injected into the fat beneath your chin, Kybella destroys fat cells. Once destroyed, those cells cannot store or accumulate fat.
  • POST INSTRUCTIONS
Post treatment you may resume normal activities. If the PRF treatment is done in conjunction with micro-needling, sun exposure should be limited for the first 24*48 hours, and makeup should not be worn for at least 24 hours. Your particular post care may vary based on the extent of your PRF procedure and/or its conjunction with other treatments. We ask that you limit excessive exercise on the day of the treatment, and treat any post injection irritations with Tylenol and/or ice. Flying same day, post treatment, is not recommended.
  • PRE INSTRUCTIONS
The PRF procedure requires no preconditioning of the skin prior to treatment. Please increase your intake of fluid the day before your procedure by simply drinking 2 extra glasses of water in the morning and the afternoon, if possible. Try to eat a normal breakfast or lunch the day of your PRF session, to avoid lightheadedness. Avoid aspirin, Advil, Motrin, Iburprofen, Naproxen, Voltaren or any other anti-inflammatory medications for at least 3 days before your procedure. We want inflammation to occur – as this is one mechanism by which PRF works! You may take Tylenol for any pains, discomforts or joint pains you may have.
  • HOW LONG DO PRP RESULTS LAST?
As long as the suggested treatment plan is maintained with proper skin care products recommended by your treatment provider, results can last 4-6 months (or longer) with as little as one treatment. We recommend averaging two to three (2-3) treatments annually to sustain desired results for regular maintenance and rejuvenation.

A series of 2-3 treatments applied once every four weeks will allow optimal results for more severe skin conditions such as Melasma and active acne. The improved results will last as long as the skin is maintained with proper skin care products as recommended by your treatment provider. We recommend seasonal treatment with the Perfect Derma Peel to sustain desired regular maintenance and rejuvenation results.

  • What are the side effects of Laser Hair Removal?
Although patients experience few side effects, the most commonly noticed are slight reddening and local skin swelling, similar to a sunburn. These effects typically last for several hours or less. In rare instances, blistering may occur. Consult with your medical professional for complete information on the benefits and risks of treatment.
  • How many Laser Hair Removal Sessions will I need?
Most areas require 8-12 treatments. However, the number of treatments required for optimal long-term benefits depends on multiple factors – hair thickness, the area treated, and your hair’s growth cycle. Interestingly, not all hairs are actively growing simultaneously and go through three distinct phases: growth, regression, and resting. Laser Hair Removal works by turning off the hair that is principally in the active growth phase at the treatment time. Since other hairs will enter this active growth phase at different times, additional treatments may be necessary to deactivate all hair follicles in a given area. All areas require maintenance after a completed protocol. As laser hair removal is permanent hair reduction.
