Treatment For Excessive Sweating

Did you know theres a treatment option for heavy sweating? (Botox/Dysport/Xeomin), the same medicine used for wrinkles are FDA-approved for treating excessive sweating of the underarms, but some doctors may also use it on the palms of the hands and soles of the feet. These injections work by preventing the release of a chemical that signals the sweat glands to activate. You may need to have several sessions, but the results can last for almost a year.

How long does it take to wear off?
Botox Injections usually takes a few days to a week to show real results while Dysport may present visible changes a bit sooner in some people. Botox Injections then typically lasts three or six months, with Dysport showing similar longevity.

What is the difference between Botox and Dysport?
Dysport and Botox Injections are both types of botulinum toxin injections. While used to treat muscle spasms in certain health conditions, these two injections are primarily known for the treatment and prevention of wrinkles. The differences lie in the potency of trace proteins, which can make one more effective than the other.

How often should I get Dysport?
You should wait at least 90 days between Dysport or Botox treatments. Typically results last between 3-6 months.

Are Kybella injections safe?

Kybella injections are entirely safe, but the accompanying safety guidelines must be adhered to. Kybella is FDA approved for the treatment of submental fat (fat below the chin), and is not yet cleared by the FDA for use in any other part of the body.

How long does Kybella last for?
Kybella results are noticeable at four to six weeks and last for years, As for side effects, expect swelling and bruising that start to fade within three days of treatment.

How long does Kybella take to heal?
For most, Kybella swelling doesn’t last long. Your swelling will typically peak about 20 to 28 hours after your procedure, and will likely go away after 48 hours. On rare occasions, you can experience swelling for longer, but it really depends on the dosage you receive and your particular skin.

Juvederm/Restalyne


Juvederm and Restalyne are injectable hyaluronic acid dermal fillers used to provide 9 months to one year of correction for moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (lines from the nose to the corners of the mouth).

Is it safe?
All of these side effects were mild and temporary, lasting less than seven days. The FDA reported no serious adverse events from the use of JUVÉDERM®. JUVÉDERM® is considered to be safe and its side effects are very comparable to the other dermal fillers

How long will it last?
FDA-approved uses: Dermal fillers can be injected almost anywhere. The most common areas are the cheeks (Juvederm Voluma XC), the nasolabial folds and marionette lines around the mouth (Juvederm Ultra Plus XC) and the lips (Juvederm Ultra XC). How long does it last: Juvederm Voluma XC lasts up to 2 years.

Which Juvederm is best for lips?
Our two favorite hyaluronic fillers for lip enhancement are Juvederm and Restylane.
